Setup
- Set the minimum and strategyThe tab loads your active listings with their prices on its own. The default minimum is 85 % of the price, rounded; type your own (from 1 zł up to the listing price) and pick "1 step" or "2 steps". Every change saves at once, no button needed.
- Switch on "Auto" for the listingThe engine only handles listings with the "Auto" switch on; it leaves the rest alone. The pill above the table shows how many listings are active.
- Turn on the engineThe Engine switch in the header. The first check starts right away, then every 2 minutes. With the engine off nothing is sent, even with minimums set.
Minimum first, then "Auto"
The minimum field saves on every keystroke. If "Auto" is already on, while you type "120" the engine briefly sees "1" (an empty field also saves as 1). Type the minimum with "Auto" off and only then switch it on.
How the engine decides
| Situation | Decision | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Offer ≥ minimum | take it | Vintly answers the buyer with exactly their amount. |
| Offer < minimum, 1 step | counter = minimum | One counter-offer, at the minimum. |
| Offer < minimum, 2 steps | midpoint first, then the minimum | The first counter is halfway between price and minimum, rounded. If the buyer offers too little again, the second and last is the minimum. If the midpoint lands on the minimum, Vintly sends the minimum straight away. |
| Minimum already sent | silence | The engine never goes lower and does not write again; the chat waits for you. It still takes a later offer ≥ minimum. |
| Not your turn | skip | When your offer is standing in the chat, the engine waits for the buyer’s move. |
| The same offer again | skip | Every offer is handled once. |
Had the buyer offered 95 zł straight away, the engine would have taken it. After an acceptance, a new lower offer in the same chat starts the negotiation over.
Rounding the counter-offer
| The midpoint is | Rounded to | Example |
|---|---|---|
| below 10 zł | 0,50 zł | 7,30 → 7,50 |
| 10-49.99 zł | 1 zł | 23,60 → 24 |
| 50 zł and up | 5 zł | 107,50 → 110 |
The minimum is sent exactly as you typed it, without rounding. If the rounded midpoint would reach the listing price, Vintly offers the price minus 1 zł.

85 %

- The engine runs in the first open Vinted tab, with an active subscription. You can hide the panel; a closed browser or no Vinted tab means no replies, and the waiting offers are handled at the next check.
- It waits 1.8-4.5 s between conversations and another 3.2-8.8 s before sending a reply, so the buyer usually gets an answer within a few minutes, not seconds.
- When Vinted answers "too many requests", the engine stops the check and tries again 2 minutes later.
- There is no activity log in the extension: you see what the engine did in your Vinted chats.
Watch out for
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| You changed the listing price | The engine works from the price saved at the row’s last change. After a price cut (e.g. with bulk edit), adjust the minimum in that row so Vintly saves the new price; otherwise it may counter above the actual price. |
| You bumped the listing | A bump creates a new listing with a new id, and the negotiation settings do not carry over. Switch "Auto" on again. |
| A second computer | Settings are stored in this browser. On another computer you set them separately; do not run the engine in two places at once. |
How to set the minimum
- The minimum is the amount you genuinely want to sell for today, not "maybe someday". The engine will take it without asking.
- "2 steps" leaves the buyer feeling they negotiated something, and the first counter is above the minimum. "1 step" is faster for cheap items.
- Messaging rules are also covered on the Messages and Alerts.
